We discussed in class the establishment of the UK CITY OF CULTURE programme (based on the European City of Culture Model). This is how the government describes the programme: UK City of Culture programme " We run the competition for UK City of Culture. This programme, inspired by Liverpool’s time as European Capital of Culture in 2008, uses culture and creativity to transform communities and help grow artistic talent.
